Professor Prof Ben Turney

I am an Associate Professor, University of Oxford and Consultant Urological Surgeon working in Oxford, UK.  Clinical related work: I have a clinical interest in endourology: particularly the treatment and prevention of kidney stones. I have been clinical lead for Urology in Oxford. I was an elected member of the BAUS Section of Endourology Committee for 5 years. I am managing partner of Oxford Urology Associates: a private practice group of 13 urology consultants and 2 uro-oncologists.  Academic interests: I am an Associate Professor at the University of Oxford UK. Since 2007, I have led the Oxford Stone Group which has researched many aspects of stone disease and its management. I have led collaborations with multiple departments in Oxford University. I have supervised 6 PhD (DPhil) students and 9 international Endourology Clinical Fellows. Current interests include: lasers for endourology, fluid management solutions, treatment of chronic urinary tract infections. These projects are in collaboration with Mathematics and Engineering departments in Oxford. I work closely with Industry partners. I have been invited to teach and speak at international meetings.
