GMC reg: 6061875He obtained his medical training in the University of the West Indies and trained in Trauma and Orthopaedics on the East of England Orthopaedic Training programme. Mr Prempeh obtained FRCS in (Trauma and Orthopaedics) at the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow in 2015. He undertook extensive training in Spinal surgery during fellowships at reputed centres including Ipswich, Stoke and Exeter. He was appointed a Consultant Spinal surgeon in 2018. Mr Prempeh is also an associate lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) Chelmsford and a Adjunct Professor for Global Health at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. Prempeh believes that each patient is an individual and needs to be treated in a tailored manner to achieve optimal results. Mr Prempeh has extensive experience in the treatment and management of spine conditions including; - Radiculopathy (sciatica) - Myelopathy (compression of spinal cord) - Stenosis (central, recess and foraminol) - Tumours (cancer) - Instability (arthritis and spondylolisthesis) - Scoliosis (curves of the spine) - Kyphosis (thoracic and cervical) - Fractures - Bulging/Slipped discs - Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Special clinical interests include spinal infections, minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery for lumbar spine, anterior lumbar surgery and scoliosis surgery.
