Dr Jha is a specialist for managing Stroke/TIA patients of all ages and also for problems specially affecting older people ( Care for the elderly). He welcomes private patients at Claremont and is available within 12 hours. He has been working as an Specialist for over 12 years, undergoing specialist training in General and Geriatric Medicine in the West Midlands. In NHS facility at Pinderfield Hospital & Dewsbury Hospital, he provides a comprehensive stroke service. He also offers a range of services in the management of multiple co-morbidities resulting in poor quality of life in elderly people. He also runs specialist osteoporosis clinic and provides specialist assessment and treatment as annual infusion which can also be received at Claremont Hospital. He can also asses a patient at home or in care home on request. This needs to be arranged with him directly. This helps in preventing unnecessary travel of an elderly person to clinic (but may have to travel later for investigations). He offers a personal and individual service with a generous length appointment times enabling all patient concerns and worries to be addressed. This approach leads to very high levels of patient satisfaction.
