Dr Prashant Kant

Dr Kant graduated from Leeds Medical School in 2001, and undertook his training in numerous specialist centres in the Yorkshire region. He specialises in all aspects of gastroenterology and regularly carries out consultations for patients with oesophageal disease, reflux disease, dysmotility, Barrett's oesophagus, helicobacter pylori, gastric ulcers, coeliac disease, IBS, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. He is specially trained in advanced procedures including capsule endoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy. He has been awarded a PhD from the University of Leeds following successful research into the links between obesity and bowel cancer.
