Mr Pranab Sinha is an experienced UK-born, fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in London , with a specialist interest in hip, knee, and sports-related injuries . Known for his personalised approach and high-quality outcomes, Mr Sinha treats a wide range of patients—from active younger individuals with sports injuries to those managing advanced arthritis. MacDessi, where he trained in robotic-assisted joint replacements and advanced sports knee procedures . Mr Sinha currently holds a Consultant post at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. He has played an active role in clinical leadership as a former Clinical Governance Lead , leading initiatives that improved patient safety and outcomes. He is the current Trauma Lead at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is also passionate about training future orthopaedic surgeons and regularly examines for the FRCS (Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons). His academic work is substantial, with over 16 published scientific articles and contributions to leading textbooks including The Hip Joint . He was awarded a Distinction for his MSc thesis on knee replacements and is a Co-Principal Investigator for a national research study on patellofemoral instability . Outside of medicine, Mr Pranab Sinha enjoys spending time with his two sons and wife , playing racquet sports, running, swimming, gym work and exploring different cultures . Personal experience with musculoskeletal conditions in his own family has deepened his empathy and further fuelled his commitment to delivering outstanding care .
