Dr Borg is a consultant Interventional and Diagnostic radiologist and the clinical lead for the ultrasound department at The Christie Hospital in Manchester. He graduated from University of Malta in 2006 and started training Clinical Radiology in Sheffield in 2009. He published the bestselling textbook ‘Radiological Anatomy for FRCR part 1’ in 2010. He was admitted as a Fellow of Royal College of Radiologists in 2012 and completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in 2014. He was appointed a Consultant Radiologist at the Manchester Royal infirmary in 2014 before being appointed as a Consultant in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the Christie in 2017. He specialises in complex upper GI intervention including endoscopy, biliary intervention and microwave ablation of liver and lung tumours as well as ultrasound and CT guided percutaneous biopsies and percutaneous drainage of pseudomyxoma peritonei. Dr Borg has authored peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in interventional radiology.
