GMC reg: 6024501After undergraduate training in Edinburgh I completed Orthopaedic training in Birmingham. This was followed by specialist fellowship training in Lim3b Reconstruction Surgery in Bristol and Foot and Ankle Surgery in Sheffield as well as a visiting AO Trauma fellowship to Tampa, Florida with Dr Roy Sanders. Since 2015 I have worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital which serves as the Major Trauma Centre for Birmingham and the surrounding region. I specialise in foot and ankle surgery, limb reconstruction and complex lower limb trauma. A significant proportion of my practice involves the use of circular fixators for both acute and delayed trauma reconstruction (nonunion malunion and bone infection) as well as the management of post-traumatic and elective foot and ankle conditions, including sports injuries. I aim to provide the best clinical care possible founded on evidence based principles and routinely audit my practice through the collection of patient reported outcome measures for all foot and ankle and complex trauma surgeries.
