My main area of expertise is in adolescent gynaecology – both medical and surgical conditions. This includes menstrual dysfunction, hormonal problems, endometriosis, pelvic pain, vulval disorders, ovarian cysts, sexual health, reproductive health, complex contraception and congenital abnormalities. To date I have performed over 1500 laparoscopies, hysteroscopies, intrauterine device insertions and removals. I am the first doctor in the UK to achieve the fellowship in Adolescent Gynaecology – IFEPAG. I am an Executive committee member for the BritSPAG - which is the national organisation for Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology - PAG in the UK. I am the UK representative representing the country in the Europe PAG executive committee. EURAPAG is the pan European organisation of PAG. NICE committee member: As a member of the NICE Guideline development Group and co chair of the Obesity group , I contributed to the NICE guideline on Intrapartum care in women with existing medical conditions – published 2019. As a Consultant Gynaecologist for 18 years , of which 10 years have been at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, I have introduced several ‘firsts’ in the department.       I have started the adolescent clinics by stratifying it from paediatric clinics        I've started the first Gynae Endocrine clinic in Norfolk        I've established the adolescent and paediatric surgical service        I've introduced several new hormone medications to the department       I have attracted referrals from hospitals in the East of England region as far as 100 miles away I am well respected, key opinion leader in my specialty, as suggested by the below:         Invited Speaker for Czech/Slovak EURAPAG/FIJIG conference – ‘Surgeries in PAG’ and workshop in PAG: April 2025        Invited speaker for the Annual National BritSPAG conference – ‘ 5Cs in PAG’: March 2025: Training in PAG – March 2026         Chair for session on Oncology in PAG at Annual BritSPAG conference, Liverpool: March 2025        Invited speaker for Endometriosis UK Charity – 1 hour webinar for lay public on ‘Adolescent Endometriosis’: November 2024         UK representative for the debate with USA on ‘Early laparoscopy in Adolescent endometriosis’: National BritSPAG conference – March 2024         Invited speaker for the Annual National BritSPAG conference – Ethical issues in PAG: March 2024                  Regular publications in peer reviewed journals: 3 in the last year I completed my Medicine degree in India, followed by two training programmes in 2 continents.
