Dr Paresh Mehta

Dr Paresh Mehta is a senior Consultant Cardiologist at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust and is Director of London and Windsor Cardiac Clinics. Dr Mehta was born and schooled in London, UK. He qualified from Manchester Medical School (UK) in 1999 and returned to London for post-graduate medical training. He achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2002. He subsequently spent 3 years in clinical research at Imperial College London and the Royal Brompton Hospital. He successfully achieved a postgraduate medical doctorate (MD), awarded by University of London in 2009, for research conducted in the field of heart failure. He returned to clinical training and completed specialist cardiology rotations at Harefield, Royal Brompton and St Thomas' Hospitals in 2011 before appointment as Consultant Cardiologist. He was proud to be elected Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2015. Dr Mehta's NHS and private clinical practice covers all aspects of general cardiology including, angina, arrhythmia, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, syncope and structural heart disease. He has a specialist interest in heart failure, cardiomyopathy and cardiac rhythm management devices. He performs cardiac procedures including implanting conventional and biventricular pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac loop recorders. Dr Mehta has several peer-reviewed publications with ongoing research interests in the field of heart failure, arrhythmia and cardiac rhythm management device therapy. He is actively involved and enjoys educating medical students, junior hospital doctors, general practitioners and provides clinical supervision to trainee doctors. Dr Mehta and his experienced team at London and Windsor Cardiology clinics endeavour to provide a comprehensive private cardiology service for their patients and families. They provide a full range of state-of-the-art diagnostics, in several locations across London and Windsor, serving Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, with a dedication to provide detailed individualised treatment plans tailored to our patients.
