Dr Palash Barman

Dr Barman is an UK trained cardiologist with full time NHS consultant practice at the Bristol Heart Institute. He is trained in all aspects of general cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He has specialist interest in the management of complex cardiac arrhythmias such as SVT, AF, ventricular ectopic/tachycardia ablation and also the implantation of cardiac devices such as loop recorders, pacemakers, defibrillators, His bundle pacing (HBP), LBB area pacing and cardiac re-synchronisation therapy devices. He uses cryo ('freezing'), radiofrequency ('heat') or Pulse Field Ablation (PFA) energy for the use of treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, commonly atrial fibrillation, flutters, SVT, ventricular ectopics/VT. 

Investigation and management of all cardiac arrhythmias. Ablation of cardiac arrhythmias like SVTs, atrial fibrillation, ectopics. Implantation of cardiac monitors, pacemaker, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization pacemakers.
