Mr Pal Ramesh

Mr Pal Ramesh is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in all aspects of elective and trauma surgery for foot and ankle pathology. He treats the full spectrum of foot and ankle disorders with expertise in the treatment of sport injuries, bunions, hammer toes, neuroma, mid-foot pathology, tendon repair/ligament reconstruction, arthroscopy and replacement/fusions. Mr Ramesh completed his post-graduate surgical training in Orthopaedics in the highly regarded London South East Thames Deanery, which includes major teaching hospitals, Guy’s and St Thomas’. Following completion of a fellowship in Preston and Chorley Hospitals, he joined Kingston Hospital in 2005 where he was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in Foot and Ankle Surgery. In 2006 Mr Ramesh was awarded a DePuy travelling fellowship. This was followed in 2007 by the prestigious International American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) travelling fellowship which afforded him the unique opportunity to undertake training in a variety of institutions in North America, often under leaders in the field, in New York, Boston, Houston, Washington, Baltimore and Toronto amongst others. Mr Ramesh is actively involved in clinical research and academic development and has been invited to lecture nationally and internationally, including at an AOFAS conference in Boston where he lectured on the subject of ankle fractures. As well as his NHS post at Kingston Hospital Mr Ramesh’s private practice extends to Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon and the New Victoria hospitals.
