Ms Ourania Fydanaki

Miss Ourania Fydanaki is a Consultant Ophthalmologist specialised in oculoplastic, lacrimal, orbital surgery and non- surgical aesthetic treatments. Miss Fydanaki graduated from Aristotle Medical School in Greece in 2010 as a military doctor, completing her studies in Military School of Combat Support Officers in the same year. She joined Hellenic Airforce in 2010 as surgeon officer and she resigned in 2020 as captain surgeon. She completed her training in ophthalmology in 2019 between Greece (Athens) and Wales (U.K.) and then completed 3 years sub-specialty training in Oculoplastics, Lacrimal and Orbit Surgery in University Southampton Hospital and Imperial College in London. Miss Fydanaki has a strong academic research background. She completed her PhD in 2019 and participated in various research projects (including commercial trials). She started as a locum consultant in Oculoplastics in Central Middlesex Hospital in Northwest London Trust in 2021 and took a substantive consultant post as Oculoplastic consultant in Ipswich Hospital in May 2023. Since then, she is leading the oculoplastic service in Ipswich hospital.
