He has a specialist interest in minimally invasive spinal operations using an operating Microscope and his present work includes degenerative spinal conditions, infection and fractures of the spine. He is the Clinical Lead for Spinal Surgery at The Whittington Hospital and he is a trainer of Orthopaedic registrars from three training programmes along with carrying on roles of a undergraduate teacher for UCL medical students. He has published extensively in peer reviewed journals and is an member of the British Spine Association.
