Mr Neville Menezes

Mr. Neville Menezes is a Consultant General & Gastrointestinal Surgeon practicing at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust & The Royal Surrey County Hospital. His area of specialism is Hepatobiliary and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery and his areas of interest include indigestion, dyspepsia, reflux, gallstones, jaundice, abdominal pain, biliary and pancreatic disorders, and pancreatic cancer. He offers open and laparoscopic hernia operations. Most of his operations are performed using laparoscopic (Key-Hole) techniques and he offers advanced endoscopic procedures. Mr. Menezes trained in the South Thames Deanery with Specialist training in General Surgery. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), completed research and specialist training in pancreas surgery at the Lister Department of Surgery & his liver experience was acquired at The King's College hospital in London. He completed an Intercollegiate FRCS in 2002. He also trained as a Laparoscopic Fellow at The Laparoscopic Surgical Training Unit (MATTU), in Guildford. He has many professional memberships including the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain & Ireland (ASGBI), Association of Upper GI Surgeons of Gt. Britain & Ireland (AUGIS); The Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Gt. Britain & Ireland (ALS); The Endoscopic Users Group Of Britain; The Pancreatic Society of Gt. Britain & Ireland (PSGBI). He is an active member of the Surrey & Sussex Cancer Alliance. He is a Founder member and Trustee of "Pancreatic Cancer Action" a Charity based in UK. This not for profit charity, works tirelessly in achieving an early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
