Mr Samuel is a Consultant Bariatric and metabolic Surgeon at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals, South Yorkshire since Oct 2019.  Surgical training from London, Yorkshire and Sunderland. Formally trained in weight loss surgery with a prestigious Royal College Fellowship at Sunderland Hospitals.  Degrees include MBBS, MRCS, MD, FRCS, Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery (RCSEngland), PGC Med Ed, PGC Health Research; PGC Ultrasound. Clinical interests and expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric Balloons, gallstones, hernias, anti-reflux surgery and Endoscopy.  Consistently excellent results and patient feedback in all the above procedures.  I am committed to working together with my patients to understand their needs, tailor their management and achieve the best possible outcomes following an operation or intervention.
