Consultant Gynaecologist Pelvic Surgeon (Laparoscopic and Robotic), HCA Healthcare I trained in West midlands in Obstetrics & Gynaecology /Gynaeoncology and been a consultant in the North West for last 20 years. I specialise in gynaecological cancer, complex gynaecological surgery, and endometriosis. I am passionate about early and accurate diagnosis and providing individualised care for the patient. I am strong believer in enhanced recovery and enabling women to get back to their normal routine as soon as possible, hence I specialise in minimal access surgery.  I undertake almost all gynaecological procedures especially hysterectomy using MAS techniques since 2010 with conversion rate is less than 1%. I introduced gynaecological robotic surgery at Wirral university teaching hospital in 2013, providing surgery for Gynaecological cancer as cancer lead and complex gynaecological problems and for morbid obesity cancer patients at Gynaecology cancer centre, Royal Stoke hospital in 2021 for women referred from other hospitals. I enjoy teaching and training another specialist. I believe training of surgeons is an on-going necessity and anatomy remains the key to successful surgery. Currently I am working as consultant trainer gynaecologist for Wales Health Board to train teams of consultants in three hospitals. I am preceptor and proctor for B braun 3D laparoscopy and CMR robotics, I am course director for cadaveric robotic and laparoscopic courses at Griffin institute London and Keele university. I have a special interest in assessing women with cancer and deep pelvic endometriosis involving nerves. I am Level 2 ISON neuropelveologist and perform and nerve sparing surgery. I provide comprehensive gynaecological individualised care for patients and work for improving women’s health.
