Mr Muhammad Shafeeq Ahmed Dherijha

Mr Muhammad Dherijha is Neurosurgeon with special interest in spine surgery. He is working as Complex spinal surgeon in Manchester Centre for Clinical Neuroscience, Salford Royal Hospital, Manchester. Mr Dherijha received his MBBS degree from Nishtar Medical University, Multan. He has received his FRCS in Neurosurgery from Royal College of Surgeons , Edinburgh . Mr Dherijha has worked as Neurosurgical trainee in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow and completed his Neurosurgery training in Manchester then received advanced training in complex spine surgery in Liverpool and Manchester while working with both Neurosurgical and orthopaedics spinal surgeons. Mr Dherijha's major research interests include outcomes related to minimally invasive spine surgery, cost-effectiveness and value of spinal surgery procedures, and comparative effectiveness of various treatments of spinal pathology. He has authored articles and presented on various conferences. He has also contributed podcast and articles for resident doctors' education.
