GMC reg: 6102902Mrs Badial is a Consultant Ophthalmic surgeon at Circle Bath Hospital. She graduated in medicine with a Distinction from the University of Leeds. She also gained a 1st Class honours degree in Clinical Sciences from the University of Leeds. She completed her structured surgical ophthalmology training in the well renowned Birmingham Midland Eye Centre and West Midlands. Her specialist interest is medical retina related disease so she pursued a Fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. This prestigious fellowship allowed vast exposure to research and clinical experience in Age-Related Macular degeneration, eye diseases related to diabetes, retinal vein occlusions, central serous retinopathy, infectious and non-infectious inflammatory eye diseases. Retinal disease is her main passion along with minimally invasive cataract Surgery. She left Moorfields Eye Hospital to take up the Ophthalmology Consultant position in Bath. Mrs. Badial is a keen oil painter and has pursued this hobby since her school days when she used to exhibit her work in national galleries. She is passionate about international cooking and has taken up yoga for fitness and relaxation purposes. She is married to a GP in Bath.
