Mr Wilde, Max

I graduated with distinction from the University College and Middlesex Hospital medical school in 1993 and was awarded the First Atchison prize for best performance in final MBBS.  I obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1997.  I completed Higher Surgical Training on the North East of Scotland rotation based at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with a Certificate of Completion of Specialist training (CCST) in 2005.  In 2005 I was appointed as Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon to Bedford Hospital where I continue to practice full time. I was lead clinician for the Colorectal Cancer MDT for 5 years,  was a foundation program Educational Supervisor and have taught on postgraduate courses. I have an interest in Medical Education, am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Senior Clinical Tutor for the University of Cambridge with an award for excellent teaching.
