GMC reg: 7013709Mr Marjoram Graduated from the University of Leicester Medical School in 2008. He completed the Cambridge Higher Surgical Training Trauma & Orthopaedic rotation in 2020. Within this training Mr Marjoram spent a year working as the fellow at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he would eventually return to become a consultant. Mr Marjoram completed fellowships in the specialist centres of Ipswich Hospital and The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital where he fine-tuned his skills in adult degenerative and deformity surgery (including anterior lumbar spine fusions), spine trauma, spine oncology and paediatric scoliosis giving him an excellent comprehensive skill set for treating patients with spine problems. Mr Marjoram has a keen and active role in research and has a doctorate in spine basic science and mechanics from the University of East Anglia. He has national and international presentations at prestigious spine meetings with publications in spine surgery. He also reviews papers for publications for medical journals. Mr Marjoram is a member of the British Association of Spine Surgeons, A fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the British Trauma Society. He is the Lead for Orthopaedic Governance at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with a key focus of safety and quality improvement as well as the Regional Lead consultant for spinal cord Injuries in Norfolk and Waveney. Mr Marjoram has the patient at the centre of his treatment philosophy, understanding that there are often many factors involved in the decision-making process.
