Mr Tim Davidson

Tim Davidson qualified from the University of Cape Town and trained in general and plastic surgery and breast disease in the UK. He did cancer research at the Royal Marsden Hospital and was appointed as Senior Lecturer in Surgery at University College London in 1993. Tim started at the Royal Free Hospital as Consultant General and Breast Surgeon in 1997 and was clinical lead and service line lead for the breast surgery unit. He was Medical Director of the charity Cancerkin from 2003 to 2017 and has published a wide range of peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals and book chapters. He maintains an interest in medicolegal aspects of surgery, surgical research, training and advancing surgical practice. Tim now works privately full-time as a General and Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon in London and consults at 120 Harley Street, W1G 7JW. He is a member of the Association of Breast Surgery (UK) and the Oncoplastic Breast Consortium (Switzerland) and his main clinical expertise is in breast disease and screening, surgery for breast cancer, intra-operative radiotherapy, risk-reducing breast surgery, breast reconstruction and management of benign breast conditions.
