GMC reg: 4120740I qualified in 1994 from St Georges Hospital London . After completing basic surgical training I went on to the South West Thames orthopaedic training program .My fellowship training was at the Waikato Hospital ,Hamilton New Zealand (Trauma surgery) and then at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital , Stanmore , London.( RCS - spine deformity ) My current NHS post is at St Georges Hospital where with my spinal colleagues we run a tertiary referral spine service for the region . I specialise in spine cancer surgery , spinal deformity surgery ( children and adults) and spine trauma surgery , as well as offering a full simple degenerate spine practice. I am passionate about improving safety in spine surgery . I am married with 2 teenage boys .Away from work I am obsessed with sport particularly rugby .I am a level 2 RFU qualified coach at the Old Alleynian Rugby Club , coaching the academy players.
