Mr Thomas C Holme

I have extensive clinical experience in general surgery and currently I am a member of the Court of Examiners at the Royal College of Surgeons. I retain clinical and operative interest in laparoscopic gall bladder surgery, having been initially trained under Sir Alfred Cuschieri, who pioneered the operation in the United Kingdom. I have extensive experience of hernia surgery and continue to undertake patient assessment and surgery for a wide variety of hernias. I have extensive experience in training and assessing surgeons and in evaluation of clinical services.

My current specialist clinical interests are gallbladder surgery and hernia surgery. This includes laparoscopic cholecystectomy and open hernia repair. I have extensive experience in other areas of clinical surgery.
