GMC reg: 4427241Mr. Kim Son Lett qualified from St. George’s Hospital Medical School, University of London and completed his higher specialist training in ophthalmology at Leicester Royal Infirmary before undertaking further sub-specialist training in vitreo-retinal surgery at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham. He has worked as a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Birmingham & Midland Eye Centre since 2011, where he is also the specialty director for Vitreo-retinal and Cataract services. Mr. Lett trains ophthalmologists, from both the UK and overseas, in vitreo-retinal surgery up to consultant level.
Ophthalmology
Cataract surgery, routine and complex with standard and premium lens implants. Implant removal and replacements. Dislocated implants. Vitreo-retinal surgery including macular hole, epiretinal membrane, floater and vitreous haemorrhage, retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears and posterior vitreous detachment. Macular degeneration, retinal vein & artery occlusion. Emergency and general ophthalmology including severe eye trauma.
