He is an experienced surgeon having performed over ten thousand successful cataract surgeries. He has been involved in teaching and training specialist trainees, junior doctors, medical students, nursing staff and Optometrists. He has trained and qualified in India as well as UK with a fellow ship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in1998 and a fellowship in Oculoplastic surgery from Salisbury and Southampton.. He has gained previous experience in Germany and USA as well. Mr Raj has been previously involved in charity eye care services in India for urban poor as well as rural communities in association with Lions Club He likes to travel and practices Yoga and meditation for holistic wellbeing. He likes to spend time with family and listen to music.
