Mr Sherif Elnikety

I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon in UK, a position to which I was appointed after completion of fellowship training in upper limb surgery. I sub-specialise in upper limb procedures with extensive experience in arthroscopic surgery, joint replacements and open procedures. Besides elective patients I perform all bone fixation procedures including intramedullary nailing and various plate fixations as well as joint reconstruction surgeries. I also look after sports injuries and perform various sports related operations including ligament reconstructions. Besides my clinical activities, I am passionate about medical education, I hold a postgraduate degree in medical education from University of Bedfordshire, I teach medical students and postgraduate doctors. I am also active in medical research, I hold a doctorate degree in biomedical engineering from UCL. I presented my studies at national and international conferences and published scientific papers in prestigious medical journals.
