As a highly skilled and dedicated liver and gallbladder surgeon based at the internationally renowned St James's University Hospital, Leeds, UK, I am committed to providing outstanding care to patients seeking specialized liver, bile duct and gallbladder surgery. A specific interest i have developed is in providing a complete surgical service for patients with gallbladder and bile duct stones, bile duct injury and strictures requiring complex biliary reconstruction. In addition i provide a comprehensive range of abdominal wall and groin hernia surgery particularly specialising in complex patients with preexisting renal and liver disease and/or multiple previous surgeries. Finally i am developing a specialist practice as expert opinion in medico-legal matters relating to surgical management of conditions relating to the liver, gallbladder and abdominal hernia.   My practice is built on a foundation of empathy, trust, and open communication with my patients and clients. My research interest includes disorders of the bile duct, cancer biomarker discovery and use of advanced technology in surgical training. I have contributed to more than 60 clinical papers and deliver a high volume of presentations from my field of practice throughout the world.
