GMC reg: 4370181I grew up in West Yorkshire before studying medicine at Cambridge University. I then moved to the prestigious Royal Postgraduate Medical School in London to complete the Hammersmith Hospitals Basic Surgical Rotation. I then went to University College London to do a PhD before moving back to Yorkshire for Higher Surgical Training. Whilst in Yorkshire I was appointed the first National Institute of Health Research Clinical Lecturer in Vascular Surgery based at Leeds University. My final year of training was spent as a Fellow in Adelaide Australia learning advanced endovascular and vascular techniques with a particular focus on diabetic foot disease and limb salvage. I have an interest in most areas of vascular surgery with a particular focus on complex bypass and angioplasty techniques. I am developing programmes focussed on minimally invasive surgical techniques such as endoscopic harvest and percutaneous aneurysm surgery. I have developed surgical skills workshops for trainee surgeons and has lectured medical students and am an invited speaker at regional and national conferences and symposia.
