I qualified in Medicine from the University of Sheffield in 1989. Since then, I have trained in surgery in Sheffield and Adelaide, South Australia, together with visiting many European centres. I have a very busy bariatric practice and offer laparoscopic surgery, including gastric banding, gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy and revisional surgery. I also offer gallbladder surgery, anti-reflux surgery and hernia surgery. My research interests include ablation therapy for Barrett's oesophagus, clinical comparison of different anti-reflux surgeries and various aspects of obesity surgery.
