GMC reg: 6155548I grew up in Wiltshire and Dorset before coming to the University of Birmingham to study Medicine. I am married to a local General Practitioner and we have two young boys. I have always held a keen interest in sport and now have the opportunity to share my love of football (Aston Villa), rugby and cricket with my children. Although my team sports days are behind me, I enjoy keeping myself fit and am a competitive runner having completed the London Marathon twice as well as numerous other races.
Trauma and orthopaedic surgery - Shoulder & Elbow
I manage a wide range of shoulder and elbow conditions including traumatic injuries: Shoulder conditions: rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, calcific tendonitis, adhesive capsulitis or ‘Frozen’ shoulder, acromioclavicular osteoarthritis, shoulder arthritis, clavicle fractures, shoulder fractures and acromioclavicular joint instability Elbow conditions: tennis elbow (Lateral epicondylitis), golfers elbow (Medial epicondylitis), ulna nerve compression (cubital tunnel syndrome), elbow arthritis, elbow stiffness and fractures around the elbow.
