GMC reg: 3499557Mr Rhys Thomas graduated from University College Hospital, London in 1990. He completed a 12-month fellowship in adult foot and ankle surgery under Dr Tim Daniels in Toronto in 2001. Subsequent to this he was awarded Travelling Fellowships by both the European and American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society Rhys was appointed as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in Cardiff in 2003 and supervises the local foot and ankle fellowship. His main interest is in sporting injuries of the foot and ankle and he works with professional and recreational athletes across a wide variety of sports. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine Rhys served as a member of the BOFAS Education Committee 2015-2022
