GMC reg: 6157440Mr Middleton completed his Orthopaedic training in the renowned North East of England orthopaedic rotation, prior to commencing his Consultant practice in Scotland. Mr Middleton specialises in knee surgery, with a particular interest in sports injuries and knee degenerative disease. He offers surgery to cartilage defects, meniscal injuries, knee ligamentous injuries and patella-femoral joint issues. He is an expert in arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery and offers a wide range of treatments through this form of surgery. Mr Middleton also offers a range of non-surgical treatments for diseases of the knee. Mr Middleton has an NHS practice focusing on knee surgery and general trauma surgery. He is a GMC recognised trainer and is a clinical supervisor to orthopaedic trainees who rotate through his NHS department. Mr Middleton is a medicolegal expert witness, authoring approximately 100 medicolegal reports per year.
