I am a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, where I have been dedicated to providing top-quality care since 2013. My journey began with surgical training in Glasgow in 2001, followed by specialist training in vascular and endovascular surgery at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary in 2008. I am passionate about delivering the best outcomes for my patients, with particular expertise in treating complex thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms and minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins, including glue, radiofrequency ablation, and foam sclerotherapy. As the Lead Clinician of the Scottish National Service for Aortic Arch, Thoracoabdominal, and Suprarenal Aortic Aneurysms, I ensure that patients receive the most advanced and effective treatments available. Additionally, my role as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh allows me to stay at the forefront of medical education and innovation, which directly benefits my patients. I also serve as an MRCS Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and an Intercollegiate Specialty Board Examiner in Vascular Surgery (FRCS). I hold several professional qualifications, including the Jordanian Board of Vascular Surgery, Intercollegiate Specialty Board in General Surgery/Vascular Subspecialty FRCS(Ed), Certificate of Completion of Basic Surgical Training (CCBST), Full Membership MRCS(Ed), and an MBBS from Jordan University of Science and Technology. I am an active member of several professional organisations, including the British Medical Association, the Association of Surgeons in Training, the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland, the British Society of Endovascular Therapy, and an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
