Mr Nicholas Edmeades

Mr Nick Edmeades BSc MBBS FRCOphth MSc Mr Edmeades is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a specialist interest in cataract surgery, inflammatory diseases of the eye (uveitis) and treatments of the retina. Mr.Edmeades completed his training at Imperial College and Moorfields Eye Hospital. After qualification as a doctor in 2004 he completed additional research to be awarded a degree in Cognitive Neuroscience. Mr. Edmeades then completed seven years of Ophthalmic surgical training in South West England followed by a specialist fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital specializing in retinal disease, uveitis and genetic eye conditions. Mr. Edmeades offers care and management for a variety of general eye diseases. He can provide additional sub-specialty expertise in age related macular degeneration (AMD), retinal vein occlusion, diabetic eye disease, central serous chorioretinopathy and uveitis. This includes the provision of intra-vitreal therapy, laser procedures and micro-incisional ocular surgery. Mr.Edmeades enjoys travel and has worked in Panama, Nepal and New Zealand.
