Mr Neal Jacobs

Mr Neal Jacobs is a UK and international fellowship-trained consultant orthopaedic surgeon with specialist expertise in foot and ankle surgery and complex limb reconstruction. He has a patient-centered approach and always takes time to fully address patient concerns and tailor individual treatment plans. He treats all surgical foot and ankle conditions from the simple to the very complex and his clinical interests include percutaneous minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, bunion correction, Achilles tendon reconstruction, joint preserving ankle surgery, sports injuries, arthritis, ankle arthroscopy (keyhole surgery),deformity and trauma/ fractures. In addition to his foot and ankle practice, Mr Jacobs also undertakes complex limb reconstruction surgery including limb lengthening, treatment of adult bone deformity, management of problem fractures and bone infection.  Neal has been responsible for introducing ankle replacement surgery as well as minimally invasive percutaneous techniques for foot and ankle surgery to Salisbury. He is currently the Head of Servcie for the Trauma & Orthopaedic department at Salisbury Disctrict Hospital.
