Mr Nayeem Ali

Nayeem is a senior Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has extensive experience having been a Consultant at Barts Health NHS Trust for 23 years. He is renowned for his patient centred approach, surgical skill and decision making. Nayeem trained in both Dentistry and Medicine at University College London Medical and Dental Schools, qualifying with Honours and Distinctions. After completing his surgical training rotation he embarked on the 5 Year Specialist Training Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Royal London Hospital. He was appointed Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust in 2002 and held clinical lead and educational training lead positions in the department. The Royal London Hospital is a Level 1 trauma centre with a teaching Dental Hospital and teaching and training future surgeons within his specialty was an integral part of his role. Nayeem had a particular interest in the management of Facial Deformity (Orthognathic Surgery), Maxillofacial Trauma, TMJ disorders and complex dentoalveolar surgery. Nayeem has a number of publications in his field, excellent patient and colleague feedback and a caring approach.
