Mr. Ganapathi is a highly experienced and respected hip and knee surgeon based in North Wales and the Wirral. He has expertise in both hip and knee surgery. He subsequently returned to the UK and took up a consultant post in Bangor, North Wales. He has since built up a large private practice, specialising exclusively in adult hip and knee problems. He practises at Spire Yale Hospital, Wrexham, and Spire Murrayfield Hospital, Wirral. Mr. Ganapathi is highly skilled in computer-guided joint replacements and has published his findings on the improved accuracy of hip resurfacing using this technique in peer-reviewed journals. He was one of the early adopters of MRI-based patient-specific 3D moulds for knee replacement surgery and, as a result, has developed significant expertise in this area, performing close to 1000 knee replacement using this technique. Mr. Ganapathi is frequently invited to speak at national and international meetings on orthopaedic surgery, where he shares his insight with fellow surgeons from around the world. His most recent technique involves Personalising knee replacements using robotic assistance (ROSA) providing even better outcomes for patients.
