I trained in orthopaedic surgery via the North West Thames rotation and undertook a fellowship in spinal surgery and trauma in Toronto, Canada. I was appointed as a consultant at Frimley Park Hospital in 2002. I have specialised in conditions of the spine since then and have practiced privately since 2003 both at Frimley and at Clare Park Hospital. I am involved in developing and expanding spinal services in the area. I am a fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association, Royal Society of Medicine and the Spine Society of Europe. I am on the executive of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons.
