Mr Irfan Khan

Mr Irfan Khan is a highly experienced plastic surgeon, with over 30 years total experience in plastic surgery with more than 16 years in private practice. Mr Khan is an NHS consultant in hand and plastic surgery and on the specialist register of the General Medical Council. He also holds the specialist FRCS (plastic surgery) qualification. He has also completed fellowships in aesthetic, microsurgery and hand surgery. Committed to further training and the latest techniques, Mr Khan is dedicated to delivering the highest level of practice for all of his patients. His commitment to plastics has seen him train at some of the UK’s best institutions and units including Billericay, Chelmsford, Leeds, Glasgow, Preston and Liverpool.Mr Khan has worked in private practice since 2008, running a busy and successful clinic since this time. He is keenly interested in teaching and bringing more dedicated doctors and surgeons into the plastic surgery field. He was the previous Training Programme Director in the Merseyside area, responsible for supporting and teaching plastic surgery trainees across the region. Mr Khan is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Liverpool University, teaching and examining undergraduate medical students. Mr Khan is also an examiner for FRCS(Plast), an exit examination for plastic surgery trainees before they become consultants. All this indicates his passion and dedication to teaching and training future plastic surgeons ensuring best care for patients.
