Mr Dominic Sprott

Mr Dominic Sprott is a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon based at Ramsay Oaklands Hospital and Salford Royal Hospital. He specialises in Limb Reconstruction and Lower Limb surgery, focusing mainly on knee and foot and ankle surgery, including complex foot reconstruction. Mr Sprott gained his MBBS in 1999 from the University of the West Indies before undergoing junior doctor training. In 2002 he began an orthopaedic research fellowship in Ohio, USA, before moving to the UK to undertake basic surgical training and then specialist orthopaedic training with the Mersey Deanery. On completion of training he further specialised in Limb Reconstruction with a focus on complex Foot & Ankle reconstruction for both major trauma and Congenital deformities. He also completed a fellowship in knee surgery. Mr Sprott was then appointed as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Salford Royal FT Hospital in 2014. He runs a very busy practise, and his ethos centers on his belief 'that independant, pain-free mobility is a major factor determnining quality of life' and strives to achieve this for his patients. Mr Sprott is a member of the British Limb Reconstruction Society (BLRS) and the British Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS).
