Mr David Selvan

Mr Selvan graduated from University of Liverpool with Honours. He successfully completed his specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the Mersey rotation and attained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons. Mr Selvan then completed a specialist knee fellowship in Manchester. Mr Selvan currently works at Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust as a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics with a special interest in knee surgery. Mr Selvan is very keen on patient outcomes following hip and knee replacements and is the lead for the Enhanced Recovery program in his NHS practice. Mr Selvan has a very keen interest in teaching and training doctors and allied health professional and is the Royal College tutor in his NHS practice and is recognised GMC trainer. Mr Selvan is also a Member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh which is attained for outstanding training in surgery.

Special interest in knee surgery including sports knee injuries and arthroplasty.
