I have been a Consultant Liver and General Surgeon in Cardiff since 2015 and have developed our minimally invasive (laparoscopic) biliary and liver surgery programme. I am the lead general surgeon in the Royal Air Force. I am the National Clinical Director of Veterans Trauma Network Wales

I specialise in general abdominal surgery with a particular interest in liver, bile duct, gallbladder and hernia surgery. I carry out up to 40 liver resections per year, which is a high volume in the UK. I have carried out more than 1,000 laparoscopic cholecystectomies and many hundreds of abdominal wall hernia repairs of all types. I also treat patients with "lumps and bumps" such as sebaceous cysts and lipomas.
