Mr David McKiernan

I am a teaching hospital Consultant Surgeon, with an NHS Practice at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge and the West Suffolk Hospital. I graduated in Medicine from the University of London in 1989 and subsequently became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and pursued Higher Surgical Training leading to accreditation. I was awarded a Fellowship by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery after which I received advanced training in Germany, France and the United States. After passing the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery’s exam, I was certified by the European Academy. I have published articles and papers on head and neck surgery and ENT and I am a Consultant Surgeon to Addenbrookes and the West Suffolk Hospitals NHS Trusts. I am married with two children.

While I undertake the full range of adult and paediatric ENT surgery, I have subspecialist interests in Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery. This includes primary and revision rhinoplasty for both functional and cosmetic problems, the full range of sinus surgery ( including surgery on the frontal sinus) and the correction of prominent ears.
