Mr David Izadi

David Izadi is a Cambridge University Graduate and a multi-award-winning consultant plastic surgeon with more than 18 years’ experience in plastic, reconstructive, aesthetic and hand surgery. He is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council for Plastic Surgery and is a substantive plastic surgery consultant at the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW). David is a caring and dedicated surgeon who offers bespoke treatments, tailor made to his patients’ needs and expectations. He has a consistent track record of delivering natural and precise results, using the latest modern techniques. David is a specialist in aesthetic rhinoplasty surgery. He is highly trained in this field, having been taught by the finest rhinoplasty surgeons globally. He has completed an advanced aesthetic rhinoplasty fellowship with Professor Hossam Foda, in Cairo and a visiting aesthetic rhinoplasty fellowship with Professor Nazim Cerkes, in Istanbul, considered global masters in rhinoplasty surgery. David is chairman of the Face Eyes Nose Meeting, the premier facial aesthetic meeting in the UK. He is an accomplished hand, aesthetic and body contouring surgeon. He is a full member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. He completed a comprehensive aesthetic surgery fellowship during his training and continues to refine his skills by regularly attending aesthetic scientific meetings. As a facial plastic surgery expert, David offers blepharoplasty surgery, brow lifts, otoplasty, lip lifts and buccal fat pad excisions. As a body contouring expert, David offers male and female breast reduction surgery, breast augmentation and lifts, revision breast surgery, areolar and nipple surgery, abdominoplasty, liposuction, arm and thigh lifts and labiaplasty. David is fellowship trained in hand surgery at the two most distinguished hand centres in the world – The Pulvertaft Hand Centre and The Institut de la Main in Paris. He subspecialises in minimal invasive hand and peripheral nerve surgery. He has received the International Dupuytren’s Award for the best global research in this field. He is a Fellow of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and a Fellow of the European Board of Hand Surgery. He lectures regularly on hand surgery in the UK and internationally. He is also dedicated to Global Surgery and is a member of the BSSH Global Partnership Committee. At UHCW, David is a member of the skin cancer, hand surgery and upper limb spasticity MDTs. David is education lead for plastic surgery and was awarded the Best Plastic Surgery Trainer in the UK in 2022. David has published extensively in over 45 peer reviewed journals and presented at over 75 national and international meetings. He is active in research and practices the latest evidence-based surgery.
