Mr Damian McKay

Mr. Damian McKay is a general and colorectal surgeon, who specialises in treating gastroenterology disorders, bowel disease and haemorrhoidal diseases as well as common general surgical conditions such as inguinal hernia and gallbladder disease. Mr. McKay trained in Northern Ireland and during that time was awarded a Doctorate from Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) for his research into inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). After completing surgical training, he spent a year in Adelaide Hospital, South Australia, developing his surgical skills. On returning from Australia, he was appointed consultant surgeon to the Southern Health and Social Care Trust. He now works in the South Eastern Trust based at the Ulster Hospital.
