Mr Christopher Mann

I qualified in medicine from St. Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College, University of London in 1991, and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1995. Following my junior surgical training in London, Kent and Surrey, I was appointed in 1997 to the six year Yorkshire Orthopaedic training rotation, based in Leeds, enabling me to qualify for my consultant post at Bradford Teaching Hospitals. During my training I completed an AO Trauma Fellowship in Hanover, Germany and my higher sub-speciality training with the Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. In my NHS post at Bradford I am Lead for Orthopaedic Undergraduate Education, Haemophilia Link, Orthopaedic Child Protection Lead and also hold Honorary Senior Lecturer status at Leeds University School of Medicine. My professional qualifications are : MB,BS The Medical College of St Bartholomew's Hospital, University of London, 1991; Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) The Royal College of Surgeons of England 1995; FRCS (Tr. & Orth) Intercollegiate Speciality Board 2001.

My Elective practice is foot and ankle, 'everything below the knee'. Clinic Times are Tuesday afternoons at the Yorkshire Clinic, and alternate Tuesday mornings at Leeds Spire in Roundhay. I have a particular interset in ankle arthroscopy, and bunion (hallux valgus) correction. I also do general trauma surgery. Below are some of the conditions I treat regularly and procedures I undertake regularly: Bunion / Hallux Valgus removal and treatment, Big toe disorders, Hammer toe, claw toe, mallet toe deformities ,Ingrowing toenail treatment, Morton's Neuroma treatment, Metatarsalgia, Arthritis of foot, Arthrtitis of ankle, Ankle arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), Ankle ligament repair, Ankle ligament reconstruction, Plantar fasciitis treatment, Achilles tendinitis , achilles tendinosis treatment, Achilles rupture treatment (acute, and chronic)
