Mr Awwad M Awwad

Mr. Awwad has had training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery as well as cosmetic anti-aging medicine.  His early training was done at West of Scotland Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery Unit, Canniesburn Hospital, Glasgow.  This training covered aspects of general plastic surgery, head and neck surgery, burns management and hand surgery.  Part of that time was two years as a Micro-Surgery Fellow, where he made an important contribution in the area of the haemodynamics and viability of free flaps.  Subsequently he spent three years as Senior Registrar in plastic surgery at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark, which is the regional centre serving a population of two million people, and he conducted further research in the area of free flap survival and tissue viability and published extensively.  In 1990, he established a plastic surgery practice based in central London in an independent private hospital and has attracted a wide referral base from General Practitioners and other specialists.  In addition to his surgical work, Mr. Awwad and his professional associates at the Practice are experienced in the area of aesthetic non-surgical rejuvenation procedures.  Continuous professional development, and placing the patients’ needs at the heart of the service is inherent to the culture and philosophy of Mr. Awwad and the practice.  We endeavour to deliver the best possible service to patients and other colleagues who are part of the patient journey by displaying a service mentality, compassion and care as part of our professional clinical standards.  We consider that continuous review of our protocols and striving to improve our systems is part of our duty of care to all who place their trust in us.
