About Me I am a fellowship-trained Knee and Hip surgeon, currently serving as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University Hospitals of Leicester. With over 20 years of experience in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, I specialize in joint replacement and trauma procedures, bringing a deep well of knowledge and expertise to my practice. Specializations and Interests My primary focus lies in joint replacement surgery, particularly of the hip and knee, as well as ligament surgeries around the knee joint. I perform a wide range of procedures, including total, partial, and complex knee replacements, hip replacement surgery, realignment (osteotomy), and keyhole knee procedures such as cartilage restoration, meniscal repair, and ligament reconstruction. Training and Experience My medical journey began in India, where I received my initial training before moving to the UK in 2003. Here, I had the privilege of training under some of the most esteemed surgeons in the field, gaining invaluable insights and expertise—equivalent to multiple fellowships. This extensive training has enabled me to deliver exceptional care and achieve outstanding results, consistently improving my patients' quality of life.
