He is a University of Bristol tutor and continues to publish original scientific articles in his field. Mr Osborne was the first Hunterian Professor in weight loss surgery awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012. Having delivered over 3000 operations Mr Osborne also places the Elipse balloon with no anaesthetic or endoscopy and performs robotic weight loss surgery.
