GMC reg: 3494404I qualified as a doctor from Guys Hospital in London in 1990. My early surgical training was in London and the South East. I spent 6 months teaching Anatomy at Kings college London. subsequently, I moved to the Midlands for my higher surgical training in Orthopaedic Surgery in Stoke and Oswestry. I then undertook a six months fellowship training in Hand surgery with the plastic surgeons in Manchester. I was appointed as a consultant at the royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust in 2003. Since then I have largely concentrated on shoulder, elbow and hand surgery. In addition, I teach on Basic surgical skills courses, I am a course director for the Advanced Trauma Life Support course, for which I have taught in this country and abroad. I am an examiner for the MRCS exam for the royal college of surgeons in Edinburgh, where I also teach on Anatomy courses for junior doctors
